Treetops is a uniquely located, educational setting that provides the enrichment, nurture and safety for children to grow within our care here in Brunei. We passionately believe early years provide the most essential stepping stones of learning therefore through our inclusive approach, we aim to offer each child a wide opportunity of experiences and a welcoming environment to explore, be curious and discover as they prepare to embark on their lifelong learning journey.
We have a strong commitment to promote our safeguarding culture, ensuring we support children’s welfare and positive well-being, alongside providing a cosy and relaxed environment for them to thrive and feel secure in as they learn to recognise their own potential and find their place in our ever-evolving world.
Our setting is in line with current UK practice, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework.
Our setting is available for children ages 0-5 and is made up of various “key groups.”
Bush babies are aged 12 weeks –2 years old and our sun bears are 2-3-year olds throughout the main, core sessions of the day.
Here the children have access to various continuous provision both indoors, and outdoors, extending their curious minds further as they explore different activities. Invitations to learning are age appropriate, and the space offers lots of opportunity for many cosy and sensory explorations too – so remember lots of spare clothes!
The term after a child turns 3, children attend FS1 within Hornbill School however we offer an extended day care session for families who wish for their children to attend childcare in the afternoons too.
